Since the inception of Daystate over four decades ago, the Huntsman has been a staple in their lineup, embodying a sleek sporter style that has evolved through seven unique iterations, each marking a new chapter in this esteemed series.
Introducing the Huntsman Revere, the first in the Huntsman family to feature a sidelever action. This innovative design is particularly favored by enthusiasts of high-powered air rifles, as it significantly lowers the effort required for cocking. The Revere boasts advanced enhancements to the hammer and valve system, alongside a HUMA-Air Regulator, elevating its performance to contemporary target rifle standards. With a remarkable muzzle energy of up to 40 ft/lbs in .25 calibre, it also offers powerful options at 18 ft/lbs for .177 and 30 ft/lbs for .22 models.
The Safari Edition showcases Daystate’s exquisite raised-grain wood stock, designed for ambidextrous use and featuring a lower-seated action that has become synonymous with the Huntsman range. Its textured Safari stock provides superior grip, further augmented by stippled panels on both the grip and forend. This natural camouflage finish equips it with all the essential qualities needed for field work.
Notably, the Safari Edition’s stock has been thoughtfully modified to cater to target shooters without sacrificing the Revere’s sporty essence. A rise-and-fall cheekpiece ensures optimal eye alignment for both varmint and target scopes, while the comb is crafted from a soft-touch rubber, offering unrivaled comfort across various shooting conditions and styles.
The forend of the Safari stock is adeptly designed to accommodate all shooting disciplines, featuring a wider profile and flatter base ideal for bench shooting. Its lightweight construction is perfect for hunters covering vast terrains, and stud points are included for those wishing to attach slings, bipods, or other accessories. The scalloped butt enhances both aesthetics and practicality, providing excellent shoulder balance for hunters and serving as a steady anchor when shooting from a benchrest or beanbag.
Moreover, the Revere is equipped with a breech and action optimized for a redesigned gate-loading self-indexing magazine system, allowing for greater capacity in .177 and .22 calibres. Additionally, Daystate’s latest single-shot loading tray comes standard for those who prefer precise loading over rapid magazine feeds.
Alongside the Revere, the Huntsman series retains all the hallmark features that have established it as the benchmark in PCP sporter design, including a shrouded match-grade barrel, a two-stage adjustable trigger, and its beautifully crafted sporter stock that supports a lower-seated action for enhanced handling.
Available in walnut and offered in right or left-handed configurations, or with the new ambidextrous Safari stock, the Daystate Huntsman Revere continues to be the air rifle that commands attention on the range and in the field.
