Features and Functionality
- Caliber: .177 caliber (4.5mm) BBs or pellets

- Magazine: 50-round BB reservoir for semi-automatic shooting. Pellets are loaded single-shot.
- Barrel: Rifled steel barrel for improved accuracy.
- Stock: Molded plastic with a classic woodgrain finish and Monte Carlo style grip for comfortable handling.
- Safety: Crossbolt trigger block safety prevents accidental discharge.
- Sight Picture: Includes a basic adjustable sight system. Many users choose to upgrade to a scope for increased precision
Pros
- Affordable: The Daisy Powerline 880 is a budget-friendly option for new shooters or those looking for a recreational air rifle.
- Versatile: Shoots both BBs and pellets, making it suitable for plinking or target practice.
- Easy to Use: The multi-pump action is simple to operate, and the rifle is lightweight and manageable.
- Durable: The Daisy Powerline 880 is known for its reliability and long lifespan.
- Low Maintenance: Requires minimal maintenance beyond cleaning the barrel occasionally.
Cons
- Limited Power: While powerful enough for plinking and small target practice, the 880 isn’t ideal for hunting.
- No Open Sights: The included sights are basic, and some users may prefer to upgrade to a scope for better accuracy.
- Noise Level: Multi-pump pneumatic air rifles can be somewhat noisy compared to some break-barrel or pre-charged pneumatic models.
Overall, the Daisy Powerline 880 is a solid choice for beginners and casual air rifle enthusiasts. Its affordability, ease of use, and versatility make it a great option for plinking, target practice, and introducing new shooters to the world of air rifles.
