The Vest
One of the most important pieces of hunting clothing is the vest. Not only will it serve to cover the upper part of the body, but we will use it as a backpack, since we can store many elements in it. We can go so far as to say that vests have, in a way, replaced cartridge belts and backpacks.
There are numerous models, the differences between this type of hunting clothing will be found depending on what each one can offer us and its capacity.
When you go to choose a vest, the first thing we will look at is that it is comfortable. Let’s not forget to also look at waterproofing. As for the size, we advise you not to exceed the groin.
The pants
When selecting this garment correctly, we must take into account the type of hunting that we are going to practice, but we must always take comfort into account.
There are modalities in which practically any pants can serve us, such as for waiting or hunting in position. On the other hand, in other types of hunting, greater physical effort is required and we will need clothing that does not weigh much. In this case, we will consider the possibility of wearing pants that go inside the boot, to prevent things from being introduced when walking and bothering us.
Generally, it is best that the pants are not too tight so that they do not prevent us from making any movement when walking on steep terrain.
Shirts and sweaters
Focusing on the shirts, their choice is based more on personal tastes, although we recommend that on hunting days we wear long sleeves, this way we will avoid possible injuries.
Even so, we advise you to pay attention to functionality and comfort.
On cold days, sweaters are our best ally. As with the rest of hunting clothing, the main thing that we must value is comfort.
We must choose this type of hunting clothing in colors that do not attract attention so that we can camouflage ourselves with the terrain in which we find ourselves.
