The most important factor is Scope and focus:
The scope and focus of the apparatus are two essential factors to consider, since they constitute one of the main differences between cheap thermal monoculars and those with higher prices. Both the scope and the focus will provide a lot of information about the magnification that the device has.
In this way, a thermal monocular with higher magnification will be able to magnify an image that is in the distance much more. That is, thanks to the increase we can see a distant image with greater sharpness and clarity.
On the other hand, lower magnification thermal monoculars can magnify an image at a shorter distance. For this reason, it is recommended to use them in short or medium distances; as well as in situations where an excessive increase is not required.
Given this, it is important to always choose a thermal monocular that has the magnification that we need and that allows us to see the image correctly sharp and focused.

The resolution refers to the quality of the image, in such a way that the image will be clearer and sharper the higher the resolution of the monocular.
The truth is that very high resolution thermal monoculars have a high price. For this reason, the ideal is to opt for a device that has the necessary resolution for the activity that we are going to carry out.
