The Benjamin Bulldog .457 gives you even more of what you loved from the popular Bulldog series, empowering you to take down bigger game than you could before. This upgraded version delivers speeds up to 760 fps and power up to an incredible 450 fpe when using .457 slugs or pellets. This means you’ll have over twice the power of the smaller caliber version.
Maximum Power in a Maneuverable Package
The significant boost in power for this air rifle comes from its longer air cylinder. Despite this, you can still expect up to three shots at lethal power, and the gun’s overall length remains exceptionally maneuverable at 36.38″—less than half an inch longer than the .357 caliber version. Hunters will also appreciate the inherent accuracy provided by the rifle’s precision rifled barrel.
Quiet Shots and Essential Features
In spite of its impressive power, the Benjamin Bulldog .457 ensures quieter shots thanks to its baffle-less SoundTrap system. Furthermore, the inclusion of an M18 threaded muzzle adapter allows you to easily add a moderator for shots so quiet your quarry won’t know where you are.
The features that hunters know and love from the .357 version are all present in the .457, too. These include the reversible sidelever, which makes the rifle friendly for left-handed users, and the extended 26″ Picatinny scope rail, making it a breeze to mount large scopes or other sighting accessories. Comfort and ease of use are prioritized with front and rear sling studs, a ridged rubber recoil pad, and a textured pistol grip, making the rifle comfortable to use and carry in the field.
This is one dog that definitely hunts. If you are ready to step up to a bigger bore version of an already great gun with more power to take down more game, the Benjamin Bulldog .457 is your next air rifle.
